Conclusion
In conclusion, the 4th amendment right of every American has been violated and will continue to be violated by the local, state, and federal governments. The Supreme Court which was supposed to uphold our rights has failed in doing so. You, I, and every American are now at the mercy of politicians who themselves are at the mercy of special interests who themselves are at the mercy of greed and power. This system, like a bad infection, will continue unless something is done to stop it. Our founding fathers wrote the Bill of Rights to protect the rights of every American against tyranny and government unfairness. They created this document because they had just freed themselves from a system of government that couldn't have cared less about their individual rights and liberty. But now, just hundreds of years later, that document has been trampled upon in ways this report only begins to explore. Some people say that the Bill of Rights should be changed. They say it should change to reflect our 'modern society'. Where is the sense in that? The document was intentionally written to be applicable in any circumstance. It was written with enough leeway to allow interpretation as the circumstance required. It did not say that it could be ignored completely or rewritten because that defeats it's entire purpose. If the document was written to lay out what certain things the government cannot do, why would we let the government change it to better suit it's wants at our expense? I believe that the rights of the people should come before the ease of law enforcement and state control. I know that most people don't care about these things. I know that some people are unaware of these things going on around them. I know that some people are unaware of the severity of these things. I know that some people simply refuse to believe that they are true. However, I also know that there are some people who understand what is going on and they are not ok with it. So to those people I say spread the word, do something about it, and whatever you do don't give in.
